What Is It That You Need?

Sports Massage
Sports massage is a targeted form of treatment, combining deep tissue massage with soft tissue techniques to manipulate muscles, tendons, and ligaments through its effects on the neuromuscular system.

It can aid in releasing tension, improving flexibility, and increasing blood flow, with the intention of enhancing physical performance, preventing injury, and promoting faster recovery.

Whilst it can be particularly beneficial for athletes, sports massage is also ideal for non-athletes; for example, desk workers who often experience muscle tightness, postural imbalances, and tension from prolonged sitting.
Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing everyday strain, or looking to improve your well-being, sports massage can help alleviate discomfort and leave you feeling rejuvenated and ready to tackle your preferred activities.
Pregnancy Massage
Pregnancy massage is a nurturing, holistic treatment, tailored to the physical and emotional needs of Mums-to-be.
Gentle and relaxing, it can help to alleviate many common issues in pregnancy, such as back pain, swollen ankles and muscle tension, while at the same time promoting improved circulation and reducing stress.
Performed with the utmost care, pregnancy massage can enhance sleep quality and overall relaxation, creating a soothing experience for both mother and baby.
With my FHT-accredited qualification in Pregnancy Massage, I can ensure the treatment is customised to your specific needs, prioritising comfort and safety at every stage of pregnancy.

Indian Head Massage
Indian head massage is a deeply relaxing, therapeutic treatment that focuses on the upper back, shoulders, arms, neck, scalp and face. Can be adapted to include the use of hair oil or not, according to your preference.
Rooted in ancient Ayurvedic practices, this modern form of the treatment was introduced to Britain at a 1981 London Olympia exhibition by Narendra Mehta, a blind practitioner who had honed his techniques in barber's shops and on street corners in his native India.
Designed to promote physical and mental well-being by relieving tension, improving circulation, and encouraging a sense of calm, it combines gentle strokes, kneading, and pressure techniques to help alleviate stress, reduce headaches, and improve sleep quality.
Also believed to stimulate the scalp, supporting healthy hair growth. This treatment is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and restore balance to both mind and body.
Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone sports massage combines the benefits of heat from basalt stones, with targeted techniques designed to support active lifestyles.
Warmth from the stones helps to relax muscles, increase circulation, and reduce tension, allowing for deeper, more effective manipulation of soft tissues.
This treatment is particularly beneficial for addressing muscle tightness, enhancing flexibility, and promoting faster recovery from physical activity or injury.
Hot stone sports massage offers a powerful way to soothe aches and pains, improve performance, and prevent injury, all while providing a deeply relaxing experience.

Myofascial Cupping
Myofascial (dry) cupping is a therapeutic technique designed to alleviate tension in the tissues, improve circulation, and enhance mobility.
It uses specialised cups to create a vacuum effect over the skin, gently lifting and separating the underlying layers of tissue, helping to improve the tone of the fascial layer that surrounds and supports muscles.
By increasing blood flow it may promote healing, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain caused by tight or overworked muscles.
I combine myofascial cupping with sports massage, to support recovery and improve overall physical function.
