The ISRM
I have been a registered member of The Institute Of Sport & Remedial Massage, since studying for their Level 5 BTec Diploma at the Oxford School Of Sports Massage.
Membership is only maintained by fulfilling a yearly requirement of Continuous Professional Development and the ISRM operates as a regulatory body for its members, giving constantly updated guidance around best practice and ensuring that we work accordingly.
Balens
ISRM Registration entitles me to obtain full insurance cover through Balens, insurance specialists for the Health, Wellbeing, Fitness & Beauty Industries.
Through Balens I am fully insured to practise all of the Soft Tissue Treatments that I offer.
Charlotte McDonald Sports Massage
My first home as a Massage Practitioner - Charlotte offered me clinic time as a "newbie," when everywhere else was telling me, "Only after a few years' experience." She mentored me closely through my early days, weeks and months as a practitioner.
Charlotte is a brilliant therapist and generous to her team - I'm proud to have been a part of one of Basingstoke's most highly regarded clinics for so long and have no plans to stop my Wednesday, Thursday and weekend sessions (Charlotte - you'll have to drag me out of there)...
